Halo Organics Uses the following Raw Ingredients:
Aloe Vera (Juice, Gel, Powder, Extract) – Contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene. It is naturally moisturising and soothing to the skin. Well known for healing and soothing burns, skin irritation and dry, damaged skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil - Rich in essential fatty acids like oleic and linoleic acid, Apricot Kernel Oil is high in vitamin A & E. It easily penetrates the skin & is a good oil for prematurely aged, dry or irritated skin. Excellent softening and moisturizing properties. Vitamins A & C are good for mature dry or sensitive skin. Apricot Kernel Oil helps skin retain elasticity, clarity and suppleness.
Avocado Oil – High in protein and vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E. Good for extremely sensitive skin and dry skin.
Bamboo Powder (Exfoliant) – Made from Bamboo Tabashi stems, a renewable resource, the powder is rich in mineral salt. It is a mild exfoliant suitable for sensitive skin.
Bitter Orange Exfoliant – Removes dead skin cells, antioxidant action.
Calendula Herb (Oil Infused, Water Infused) – Anti-inflammatory, Anti-bacterial, has wound healing capabilities, great for rashy, dry skin.
Carnauba Wax - Emulsifying and thickening agent. Vegan Friendly.
Chamomile floral water – Known for relieving sensitivity, redness and irritation.
Citric Acid – Is found in citrus fruits. Used in some Halo Organics products to balance the ph. It is a natural antioxidant.
Cocoa Butter – Acts as a protective barrier, slows moisture loss & softens skin. It contains vitamin E and antioxidants.
Coco Glucoside – Natural plant based surfactant (foaming agent). Made from renewable raw materials - coconut oil and fruit sugars. Completely biodegradable & compatible with all skin types.
Coconut Oil - Rich in fatty acids, proteins, vitamin E and K and minerals. It has anti bacterial properties and is used to help skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Decyl Glucoside (Polyglucose) Palm Oil Free - This surfactant (foaming agent) is extremely mild and gentle, and is naturally derived from fatty alcohols from coconut oil and glucose from corn starch. It is recommended for sensitive skin.
Echinacea Extract – Has antibacterial properties that can protect skin from infections. Great for skin that is prone to breakouts.

Evening Primrose Oil – contains high levels of GLA essential fatty acids and is known for its ability to soothe inflammation.
Grape Seed Oil – Rich in antioxidants and known for its anti ageing effects. Easily absorbed into the skin. Has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties & mildly anti-inflammatory.
Hemp Seed Oil - Rich in essential fatty acids, it can help prevent moisture loss in the skin it has antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties to help prevent premature aging, and is effective in maintaining moisture balance. It can also be useful in alleviating certain skin conditions such as eczema, acne and psoriasis.
Himalayan Salt - Rich Source of minerals, Cleansing and Detoxifying, Soothing to aching muscles and joints, Hydrating, Revitilising
& Re energising, Removes dead skin cells.
Jojoba Oil – A unique liquid wax with a composition that closely resembles the skins own sebum. Rich in vitamin E and naturally moisturising. Suitable for all skin types.
Lavender Floral Water – Known for being antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory; helps reduce scarring and speed healing.
Marshmallow Herb (water infused) – Has anti-inflammatory effect. Has been used to treat wounds, burns and scalds.
Natural Emulsifying Wax (Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate) – Derived from olives rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it penetrates quickly and exhibits a very high moisturising effect. Suited to those with severe sensitivities to cosmetic ingredients. Conforms to the Australian ‘National Standard for Organic and Bio Dynamic Produce 2007’.
Oats (Refined) – Contain polysaccharides that form a gel when mixed with water. The gel softens and nourishes the skin, and protects skin from drying out after it has been washed off. Naturally soothing to itchy, rashy, skin. A great cleanser for sensitive skin.
Olive Leaf Extract – Rich in antioxidants and softening properties. Great for dry skin and the prevention of premature wrinkles. Also effective in treating acne prone skin.
Purified Water – An important ingredient to maintain skin hydration, and create balance in the product.
Raw Sugar - Removes dead skin cells, Encourages cell turnover, Natural source of glycolic acid, Humectant - draws moisture into the skin Hydrates & softens skin, Sugar can be gentler than salt

Sclerotium Rolfsii Gum – Is an natural gum that produces a gel base when combined with water. It is a polysaccharide produced through fermentation process on a glucose based medium. It has natural skin soothing & smoothing properties. It is used as an emulsifying agent in Halo Organics products.
Shea Butter – Is extracted from the shea nut & contains vitamins A, E & F. It has ability to protect the skin from UV rays, is anti-ageing, soothing, hydrating and protective. Great for dry, rough, sun damaged skin.
Soapwort Extract - Is a gentle cleanser, soothing to rashy skin and has been used to treat itchy conditions such as eczema, psoriasis & acne. Has anti inflammatory properties.
Soya Bean Oil - High in natural source lecitihin, sterolins, and vitamin E, this oil promotes outer epidermal healing. Soybean oil is also easily absorbed and leaves a smooth sensation to the skin.
Sucrose Cocoate Palm Oil Free - Is naturally derived sugar ester from coconut oil & provides effective cleansing and make-up removing, without stripping the natural oils on the surface of the skin. Sucrose Cocoate has no known toxicity and has a long history of safe use and is free of preservatives and organic solvents.
Sea Salt – Removes dead skin cells and remineralises skin.
Wheatgerm Oil – Rich in vitamin E and anti-oxidants. Also contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and B6. High in Fatty acids & minerals. Helpful in treating sun damage, scaring and premature ageing.
Witch Hazel – Contains tannin which has strong antioxidant properties as well as being astringent. Has disinfectant properties. Is anti-inflammatory and does not disrupt the skins natural ph. Great for oily and acne prone skin. It is gentle and non drying.
Xanthan Gum – A polysaccharide produced by fermenting glucose, it is a natural emulsifier and stabiliser. Used in skin care and food.
Ylang Ylang Floral Water - Ylang ylang has traditionally been used for its calming and balancing properties.
Grapefruit Seed Extract - Extracted from the fruit peels, pulp and seeds of the grapefruit plant. Grapefruit extract is used as an anti-oxidant, antiseptic and disinfectant in cosmetics. Grapefruit Extract is also non-toxic, environmentally safe, and quickly bio-degradable.
Natural Preservative (Geoguard) (Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate) – A combination of naturally occurring food additive gluco delta lactone, derived from corn, and a food grade preservative sodium benzoate, with a trace amount of calcium gluconate as a processing agent. Increases the moisturising capacity of a formulation and accepted by ECOCERT as a preservative in Certified Organic cosmetics.
